Default (Sold) FS: 2005 Honda S2000

Good morning all. For sale is my 2005 Honda S2000. Color is Silverstone Metallic. Mileage is 51,7xx. Car is located in Contra Costa County, San Francisco bay area. Although I’ll be sad to see it go, it’s time to move on. In short, I modified this car for both street and track-day use. When driven on the street, the car was never flogged because it was my sole form of transportation. On the track, the car was driven at 9/10s because, again, it was pulling double duty. Anyways, the car only saw 3 track days (SoW, Laguna Seca, Infineon) which isn’t much at all. Regardless, upgrades were mainly done for safety and car preservation. Parts and modifications are as follows:

- AP2V1 rear wheels x 4
- Project Kics spacers, 25mm x 4
- Federal 595RS-R tires, 255/40R17 x 4
- Centric C-Tek Rotors
- Hawk Pads: HT10 front, HP+ rear
- Goodridge stainless lines x 4
- Ground Control complete kit, 550lb Eibach ERS springs x 4, Koni yellows x 4
- Hardrace RCAs with offset ball joint, 12.9 fasteners
- Megan bump-steer spacers
- Koyo Radiator
- Tru-Cool 36 Row oil cooler
- Mocal sandwich plate with 160F thermostat, -10 fittings with Dowty seals
- K&N FIPK
- Gladman cooling plate
- F1Spec Type 1 seat x 2 (Mugen S1-R replica)
- custom built seat brackets (extra low to pass broomstick test)
- G-Force 6-point harness x 2
- Hard Dog roll bar with lower harness bar, diagonal bar and OEM belt tabs
- custom, 3” header-back exhaust with mandrel bends, O2/CEL fix
- Magnaflow XL 3 chamber muffler, 3” in/out
- V-Band added to muffler tip for 90 degree elbow
- elbow has Supertrapp diffuser-only attachment
- will pass sound at Infineon and Laguna Seca (and probably Thunder Hill)
- complete, alternate exhaust with catalytic converter and Magnaflow 3” canister muffler (just swap in for smog)
- custom front splitter with skid plate attachment

This car really needs to be seen and driven to appreciate the overall condition. It definitely looks and drives like an s2k that averages 7400 miles per year. There are some blemishes. There’s a small scrape on the bumper, the front fenders could’ve been flared better, and there’s a tear in the soft top. But really, two of those things are pretty common with any car or convertible that’s 7 years old. There is one catch though: this car does not have air conditioning although I still have all the parts including the compressor and condenser. If you like driving with the top down, it’s pretty much a non-issue. Plus you get improved cooling for the motor and weight savings of about 23 pounds. All fluids in the drivetrain are Redline Synthetic. Brake fluid was Motul RBF600 for the track and Castrol GT-LMA for the street.

With the modifications done to this car, it excludes a lot of buyers. However, if you’re looking for a no-frills, low-mile s2k that really performs, then this one could be for you. I’ll start at $16000 and we can take it from there. Make me any offer, I won‘t be insulted. It’s just business. If you prefer to give me a call, no problem. Just don’t text me. Thank you!
