Details about the Car:
I want to move to SSC next year, so that means I need to sell my S2000. It is set up for SCCA STR autocross class, but would also be a great stating point for a track day / time attack car. It is a model year 2000 with ~139K miles which will go up a bit as I continue to travel to events and run the car this year. The body is straight and the paint is shiny. It does have some chips and scrapes as you would expect from a car of this age and mileage. The air conditioning blows cold. I’ve replaced rear wheel bearings, motor mounts, front castor adjusters. The top is in good shape with no leaks. The interior is in good condition. Everything works except the factory radio remote controls. It is fully prepped for STR. It’s not competitive nationally, but is very competitive locally. It would make a great “starter kit” for a track car. Here is the list of stuff.
SPC Honda S2000 Ball Joint - Front and Rear Fitment.
Camber: +/-1.5 degrees
Karcepts Spherical Upper Shock Mounts
PLM-HAP1-HEADER
Private Label MFG Power Driven F-Series Header (4-2-1-) AP1/AP2
HKS S2000 Hi Power Racing Version Exhaust 2000-09,75mm SUS304 "Off-road use only", single sided adjustable length tip
Berk 75 mm Hi flow cat
K&N CAI
Track Dog heat shield for headers
Greddy Emanage Ultimate
Karcepts Spec/Modified Boomslang Harness
Karcepts AP1 custom Tune
SFRE Adjustable Sway bar, 1.25”x .25” hollow, splined arms, rod end link (front)
SFRE Ball Bearing mounts for sway bar (front)
’06 Miata sway bar with custom brackets (rear)
Hyperco springs 8 x 2.5” 700Lbs (front)
Hyperco springs 8 x 2.5” 600Lbs (rear)
Hyperco springs 8 x 2.5” 800Lbs (originally had 800 f/700r, but that was too stiff for the bumpy ass lots around here)
Motion Control 2-way adjustable non-remote coil overs
Eibach helper springs
Modifry shift beeper
Modifry phone mount
Modifry gopro mount and glove box shelves
After market radio with new speakers and usb input
Braille 15 lb. battery
Enkei PF01 17X9 +60 silver with BFG Rival S1.5 255/40X17 (one set comes with the car)
Enkei PF01 17X9 +60 black with Bridgestone RE71-R 255/40X17 (one set comes with the car)
All the stock parts except the wheels
That is around $10K worth of parts if you’re wondering.
Anyway, I’d like to get $16K for the car, but I’ll listen to reasonable offers.
Co-drives / test drives are available if you’re serious
Price: $15K including both sets of wheels and tires / obo

how so? The shocks alone are 3250, add springs and the top hats and thats another 600., sway bars 1000, karcepts emanage 1200, exhaust and header 1000, wheels and tires 2000 . The major stuff is already over 9k.
looks spot on to me.

Not sure where you get parts, but all of it was purchased new from reputable dealers like Small Fortune Racing, Karcepts, Evasive Motorsports or directly from the manufacturers. One of the advantages of buying from SFR + Karcepts is the tech support in the form of set up advice. Also the suspension was installed and set up by an SCCA solo national champion. Many experienced autocrossers who have driven the car have commented on how well it is set up.

Hi rschumin, I'm interested in the car but can't pm you since I waited until now to create an account. I've been lurking on the forum for a while now (even read the FAQ) but it just didn't seem right to make an account until I was at least ready to buy. Anyway, my email is ryanmdel@gmail.com and if you could send some pictures of the engine bay/ interior along with your phone number I'd like to talk more about it.
Thanks,
Ryan
