Yes you CAN actually purchase a physical gift card for Amazon & other on line type things even Music sights etc..... I've seen them on the racks of Cards in both my local Grocery & even at like Lowes butt not sure you have Lowes

Some people think gift cards are cheesy butt I disagree as long as your not giving it to your new Spouse then it would be like the dreaded Toaster or Blender Getting something THEY CHOOSE from a STORE or BUSINESS they is a win win IMO

One other option I've done for my WA er is called DIRECTLY to the Local Fly Shop he frequents and paid over the phone for him to have a Gift Certificate there awaiting his pick up. He loved that!

just mom's way 2 many 2 cents's

& for me just send cash

Be careful with the gift cards you buy in stores, a lot of them don't actually redeem at full value.

Yeah our grocery stores also have physical gift cards but it seems most of them aren't for online stores they'd actually want to buy something from. ...Canada does have Lowe's just not locally.

I totally agree gift cards can be a great gift! It's hard though because either it costs more to ship stuff to the island (and it takes forever) or they don't ship at all there. There is another grocery store I do want to check though for gift cards.

Oh, and I'm shopping for a new hairbrush. I actually broke mine when I was straightening my hair.

wish I could have seen that it IS nice when someone does your hair its SO MUCH easier for THEM to do the back than doing it & trying to straighten the back

Oh, and I'm kinda lightly shopping for some new counter stools that have backs.

Later today I'm going to be shopping for a gift for a community senior citizen. It's awesome that we have a Christmas program for seniors and not just kids/families.

Some bike accessories. Might be doing more bike commuting in the near future and I never finished my uber-commuter project.
