The Raptor

Miramar Marine Corps Air Station (east of La Jolla), used to be the location of the US Navy Top Gun fighter school. I'll roll out at 4 AM and meet Anne Marie's niece's husband who is retired Navy. They live in San Diego. We'll see the Blue Angels, F22 Raptor, F35 Lightning, A22 Osprey tilt rotor, B1 Lancer, B2 Spirit, Shock Wave - a semi truck cab with a turbine engine that goes 300 mph and shoots flames for 200 feet out the back, and a whole lot of lot of other stuff. We'll be in a chalet right on the center of the flight line with food and a bar. I'm going to be in hog heaven! I'm spending the night in La Jolla. I ain't fighting Friday night traffic back to LA.

I'm guessing JPoop aka Jack will be , also Les & Mitchy along with their lil sweetie & C-6 & mom butt none of us will be seeing the show unless its by chance over the HWY

You're lucky! I'm such an aircraft nerd. I've always had a thing for A-10's and F-4's. I haven't seen the Blue Angels in years so I can't imagine how refined the show is nowadays. I remember seeing them or the Thunderbirds and it always felt magical in a weird way. Watching fighter jets do aerial ballet... good stuff. Enjoy man
