took a over to my previous home / neighborhood in Lake Elsinore to see how bad it was due to the HOLY fire ...
VERY TUFF seeing it still under smoke and the fire had gone RIGHT UP to the road that led up the hill to the house.
They had set up camp in the park at the bottom of the hill for the tons of fire fighters that have come from afar to help in this one. SO SAD knowing it was due to the A$$HAT that was having a disgruntled situation with his cabin in the mountain so decided he'd burn it all down people out there!
HEAVY presence of Fire Fighters in the neighborhood as it is surrounded by the Cleveland National Forest and yeah had the fire right on its border
I'm sure this guy wasn't minding coming back to find his home covered in Phos-Chek vs not there!
Those Phos-Check pilots are AMAZING we watch then drop in and I mean DROP as in so low to dump their load its quite the sight!
Also the Fire Teams were there scrubbing the roads etc.... for the homeowners
It was weird seeing the command centre or whatever it's called in my grandma's little podunk town. Palettes of coolers and other supplies...All kinds of helicopters and water bombers flying over her birthday party. Pretty eerie, but I'm grateful for all the work everyone is doing.
Also weird is when you get into your car in the morning and the AC is on - all you can smell is campfire coming from the vents. Proud though that my cousin is a bit further south fighting fires.

I was leaving my Sis-in-Laws place years back near Yosemite & on the windy road & came round the into a fire being put out... he let me go thru but even top up it was difficult to breath not a situation you wanna be in
