Default New Dog!

Big news! We're getting a dog. His name is Shadow. He's 7 months old, black, and a poodle mix. I think Maltipoo. He's a rescue and a little bit bigger than our last dogs. Longer legs. He looks a lot like FloJo. We met
him today and visited for about an hour. He's a very sweet dog and rambunctious. We're picking him up next weekend from Monrovia. He has all his shots and is getting spayed on Tuesday. It's been 21 months since we lost Molly. I'm excited! I'll post pics soon..

Glad to see you found one! Neutered RB not Spayed

I'd have a dog someday but you know C-6 is not keen on that idea lots of responsibility and work. My only problem would be picking up POOP

Congrats George! I’ve never heard of a Maltipoo
I looked it up and see it is a hybrid of a Maltese and a Poodle.

Congratulations! I’ll second Sam’s request for photos once your new family member is home.

Although I still really miss my goober, I do not miss picking up the poop that came out of his 150 pound body

So that issue is kinda important IMO

We lived in a house about 12 years ago in Lake Elsinore, our next door neighbors were a young couple. One day he brings home these 2 ADORABLE sibling dogs, they were cute & I LOVE dogs, sad story was they were always gone either working or what ever, the 2 pups were left alone out back all day and they were SO BORED they would and push their lil Igloo houses around. I felt sorry for them
The Saddest part was they never picked UP their Poop and there was tons of it on the ground that they had to walk thru etc... We had a 2 story so I saw from above.

In Beaumont our last home the neighborhood had lil Metal boxes along the sidewalks with rolls of plastic bags for dog walkers to use & a Can for the full bag.
City emptied them.

Here in Menifee we don't have those, I noticed a few front yards who chose to have a lawn have these lil signs stuck in the lawn. NO DUMPING

I'm sure RB & Anne Marie will be responsible with the pups poop being disposed of maybe their handy man WIlly will help

sorry for the $hitty subject

Why are you telling me this, Mom? We've had dogs before and know how to deal with dog poop. Also, we now have a home office, so Shadow will never be home alone for long periods.]
