Amusing cant from racer chick. People are SO stupid. This morning a gal behind me at the ATM was so loud on her cell, with so much profanity, I had to comment. This of course brought me a torrent of F-word and I even got to be abused as "white"! I love LA.
So then at breakfast, the owner noticed my Berkeley sweatshirt and compared the current generation (which accepts the Rose Bowl outrage without demonstrations), and his own, which "got a half million people in SF to demonstrate against Vietnam (sic)". Yeah, those cowards did Vietnam a lot of good.
But all is well. hydroplaned into a spin the other night and didn't hit anybody. 32 psi S03s @ 40mph. Don't know how I'll ever learn not to "lift-off" when she steps out, let alone react to the transition from slide to step-out.
