I chose the Craftsman style when building even though the outside elevation is Spanish which I had no choice in since it was the last of the block Don't mind a Spanish Elevation just hate the color they used which again was out of my control.
So i have Block posts ( not to the step sadly butt least they are posts vs drywall
The builder DID do the White Posts I wanted with a Dark Handrail butt they just use a simple 4 X 4 with a cap.
I'm making it look like this >
note the beefed up bottom & double layer of wood in the center. Also painting all Newell Posts White except the cap as you see here.
Mine are stained the dark color with the hand rail.
Yeah kinda picky about ascetics on stuff when it comes to detail in construction butt if I can DIM THEN I WILL
Sitting on my A$$ after a hard job of installing ALL the drip lines to ALL the new Water Wise plants in the new UN RC TRACK yeah sounds silly that the still NEED some water but only slow drips

that job is done just awaiting the rock delivery..... moved on to painting my MomCave EXTERIOR , got body done today Trim next & Door just not positive what color to do the door lastly will be the SHAKE roof I'm adding! LOVE shake but houses here need Tile this is MY lil house so I'm hoping to get away with it
