So, Mom. Have you gotten a damage estimate, If so, how much is it going to cost you to fix it like new? (PM me if you don''t want to make this public. Is you're homeowner's insurance going to cover it. If so, how much deductible? (Again, PM me if you like>;) I sake it there's now no chances of catching the person who did this. Right?:confused::mad:

We are hoping to have the insurance agent here today to do the evaluation and then yes an estimate from a Contractor, they did tell Skip that we could get our own if we prefer then they just approve the estimate.

Yes they will cover this.
As for catching the driver well we've been very busy the last 2 days getting footage from 2 neighbors Security Cameras that are mounted on the outside of their homes, not Ring but high end ones. We have footage of the car driving up, the BAM into the house then them backing out and leaving our driveway.

I posted on the Neighbors section of Ring and a good comment was " Maybe the Flock :photo: 's caught them? " I had forgotten about those but now I've spoken to them and we will be having them researched by the police and or our HOA so :fingerscrossed:

Again grateful no one was hurt but still very upsetting to go thru and to see ( not moving any of the debris till its accessed :o )

Yesterday, I was doing my job competently.

Yesterday I amost got rearended again in my WRX:yikes:

Relevant to what, again:confused:

A lady rear ended me doing about 40 m.p.h. while I was at a dead stop in my 2017 WRX back in 2018.

Then what happened? You must have been hurt. Was the car totaled?

I got checked out in the hospital and then sent home. Was sore for a few days and had some pain for awhile after. Car was totally totaled, I even broke the seat. The car was spun around 180 degrees from the impact.
