In an attempt to clean up the Important Topics, which I feel not as many of us read or look at as we should, I have decided to try to make one central Del Val thread which will eventually contain all the Del Val important information as well as some beginner s2000 information for out new members.

For now this thread will remain locked until it is where I want it and important enough to replace the current setup. Only I will be aloud to edit it in an attempt to keep it uncluttered and have everything in it that I think we need. Bear with me for a few days, eventually it will be where I want it.

The Basics...

What is Del Val s2k
- We are a group of members who share a common interest in the Honda s2000 and the community.
- Del Val s2k is short for Delaware Valley s2000 club consisting of members from Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
- We also consider our NY Metro friends apart of the club, along with all of the other affiliated s2ki.com clubs.
- Your Del Val community is lead by Jerry (paS2K), Mike (mikes2k) and Francesco (Frank).
- Although we three are the official CO's (community organizers), it does not mean that we are required to plan every s2000 meet with in the club. Every local member is encouraged to plan meets or events. This individual planning keeps the club active and everyone knowing members by faces instead of user names.

The People...

- Del Val is continually growing. We have members that are 8 years to 8 days old in the community. We all share the same passion for the s2000, and thats what keeps us together. Throughout posting and meets you will become friends with its members. Many friendships have sprung because of this web site, and they continue to grow even to this day.

- The following thread is a Del Val help hotline. If you are willing to help out members if they may ever need a helping hand in a situation, mainly you break down or are possibly lost/ scared, we ask that you take a look and help out.

- A big part of the community is meeting its members and coming out to meets. As of now we do not have a weekly not a monthly meet. This may or may not change, but the only way it will change is if we all take an interest in the community.

Del Val Meets & Greets...

This sub forum was created to keep the main page more organized and consolidate all of the meets into one section. No meets will be stickied, they will just all be placed here.

If you post a meet in the normal Del Val forum it will be automatically moved to Meets & Greets with out notice.

Calender

We now have a Google Calender stickied at the top. This calender is a working link which can updated by members empowered to use it. Please refer to it to see the current events. It will be updated as events are planned and will be a very good reference to the community.


Planning a Meet...

We encourage everyone to plan a meet. Its not hard and anyone can do it. You have to take into consideration that you cant make everyone happy and not everyone is going to show, but this shouldn't stray you from planning something.

Remember, when planning a meet you are responsible for it. Make sure everything is well thought out, especially if it is a group drive. Accidents do happen, so everything needs to be safe and for the good of the community.

s2ki is a LLC, and they do not offer meet insurance. If something happens at a meet we are fully responsible for our actions.

UPDATES for 2014:

Although things have changed here over the years, we are still a great group of people. The above topics till mostly apply, however we do not have any subforums anymore since they become dead with the decline in traffic. If you want to post a meet or post something for sale, you can post out in the general del val forum. If you are selling anything, you MUST still be an s2ki member. Also, the calendar is no longer functioning since the site was redesigned. Other than that, everything is pretty much the same above.

We are still a great group thats been going strong for a very long time, stronger than most chapters actually!
