Default Anyone around??

I’m in north Wilmington, and trying to make some new S2000 friends. I’m also getting my S2000 ready for its first track event at NJ Motorsport Park in august.

The group has been quiet for a bit.

There are quite a few from the group here who participate in a number of track days, NASA-NorthEast probably the most prominent and if you watch the Metro NY group there are usually track days posted there as well.

Also, be aware that NJ regulations for convertibles on track is tricky. I believe the general consensus is that for HPDE/Driver Education, the broomstick test is sufficient. If it wasn't an education day but instead a track day, hardtop might be required

Thanks for the info. I was carefully looking at the NJMP website for convertible requirements. Before, I had mistaken that I need an aftermarket roll bar for any track action.

Part of the issue is the track, part is the state regulations and part might be the organizers. (which might be NJMP in this case).

I would never pass a broomstick test with a helmet on, so I've avoided NJMP. Others with hardtops have gone.
