Default Last was really bad night.

My S got hit. Stupid me, left it in front of an office, came back to messed up car. Strange part is that it had two separate hits on side of it, more of a purposely done.

jeez... sorry to hear that... hope you fix it soon.

I see careless people all the time especially after moved to NJ. Lady in honda accord scratched my BMW recently while I was standing by my car. She didn't even noticed (or pretended that) and then was very aggressive saying that it's not her but that mess was there before until I showed here the fresh white paint marks and scratches on her car that was left from my bumper. She had a lot of space to park from the other side of the lot, but for some reason she really needed to try to squeeze it between two closely parked cars.

Damn, did you fill out a police report? Any cameras in front of your office building?

Yeah. I filed a report, there were cameras, but landlord turn them off like a year ago or so for some reason.
Externally car was fixable, but when mechanic checked it on the lift, turns out that the sub frame was damaged, knuckle was broken and many other things. (car was parked by the curb, so it was pushed over the 6" curb.
So, sadly, car is totaled. And I had so many things done to it in the past 6 month.

Mike, that really blows. There are so many things about this situation that really piss me off. One more gone forever.

Do you plan to buy it back from the Ins company?

My husband and I bought my ap1 back from being totalled. The subframe in the back and quarter was pretty banged up, but due to all the mods, they only deducted about 1400 for salvage. It may have been 1200, can't remember. We parted it out and made much more than that back in parts.

Just an option if you have the time on your hands.

Sorry to hear about your car.
