The OFFICIAL Del Val Atlantic City Meet.
The OFFICIAL Del Val Atlantic City Meet.
What:
A cruise down to one of Atlantic Cities finest casinos. A night to dine, drink, gambel and dance with the s2k crew.
When:
Saturday March 24th

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa
One Borgata Way
Atlantic City, NJ 08401

So why:
Well after some debate about if I wanted to go through with this or not made me think that we would be missing out on a good weekend. Think of it as a mini vacation, thats what im shooting for. The date has been set, and plenty of notice has been given. Borgata is the casino of choice, so we will plan around what it has to offer. Most want to just get out for the night with the Del Val crew and drink and gambel. Either way we should be able to have fun.
Borgata is very nice casino. Theirs plenty to do, and if we stick to small groups based on intrest, no one should be bored no matter what age you are.
Can the date be changed?:
If I have learned one thing about planning meets it would have to be you cant please everyone. The date is the 24th of March, and it has to stay this way. Plenty of time has been given to make plans to attend this if you are interested. The only way the date would change is if it snows that day.
Where we will meet for the drive down:
We will meet at the Sams Club in Williamstown NJ (2080 NO. BLACKHORSE PIKE
WILLIAMSTOWN , NJ 08094), at 5pm. I want to take the back roads down, but due to traffic and cops I think its best we take the AC express way. This is probably better for us to cruise as a group with less confusion. Sams Club is on Cross Keys Rd. which has an entrance for the Express way. With this route we should be at the Borgata by 7pm.
If anyone knows the back roads 100% to AC, and wishes to lead the group down this way let me know. Most of us like the back roads for the fun factor.
Please read the thread, I will continue to update it as the meet comes closer.
Parking:
We will park in the Borgata's main parking garage, preferably on a floor where we can fit all the s2k's. Parking is a flat rate of 8.00$ I believe.
Guest:
Although this is an s2000 meet, we always like to meet new people. I myself will have a gues with me. The s2000 is a two seater, bring someone along for the ride and night.
Rooms:
Rooms have not been looked into yet. Some people said they are able to get us group rates. Im not sure exactly how many people are going to spend the night, so right now im going to leave this part up to the individuals.

As an FYI, IIRC a room at the Borgata on a Saturday night is around $200 (provided they have them, you book it early enough, and there isn't any big event going on like a concert or boxing match etc.). I'm not sure what the group rates are though.
I'll check in here from time to time.
