Default The Bourne Ultimatum

I just got back from watching the midnight showing of Bourne Ultimatum and WOW. It was just as good as the other 2. I was shocked. Didn't think it would be very good. I was wrong. The ending is good too. As well as the story, the action, the entire movie.

It was very well crafted. Solid 3-act structure, and mostly believable (within context of the other 2). The whole thing was very taut, and the pacing was very good.
Yeah, there are some gaffes, but I thought they were mostly minor and plausible.
There are few loose ends, not the least of which is the statement made by Julia Stiles character. . .

Recommended.

i just came back from seeing this great film. the plot, pacing, & cinematography were excellent. i've enjoyed the whole series & maybe the best trilogy i've seen.

i'm sure some will disagree. i liked LOTR & the Matrix series but each one to me had a movie that wasn't as solid one of the prior episode(s).

Saw it last night, as always, very impressed, good movie...

EDIT: Don't really consider this a trilogy, there is a 4th book

The movie was great as expected. However I highly doubt there will be a 4th movie. Supremacy and Ulitimatum don't follow the books what-so-ever and the book writer, Robert Ludlum is dead. I don't think that the Bourne movies will follow in the path of James Bond being taken over by another writer. Even Matt Damon himself seemed like he didn't want to do another one as mentioned on the Tonight Show the other night.

Was my favorite of the three for sure. That fight scene vs Desh awesome.. I believe Matt damon said he wouldn't do a 4th movie, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Great movie. I really liked the waterloo station scene. The whole sneaking around the station was exciting!

Well if 8D recommends it, then I better go see it.
