These both are known movies by people who follow movie-ish news I guess, but I did not think I would like Netflix's "Bright" but I did. Sort of a weird fantasy/buddy cop movie mashup. Critics did not like it so much but I enjoyed it, glad they are making another.

Second one is free for Amazon Prime members but you could stream it on other services for a few bucks and that one is "Brawl in Cell Block 99". It is kind of like an old school wanna be early Tarantino style film starring Vince Vaughn. Not great, but kind of fresh and a fun couple hour diversion.

So Bright was ok, many seemed to like it....Alien Nation back in the day with James Caan was better. 5 outta 10. nothing new inho

i just don't feel like another prison movie so i skipped the other one.
