Default THE DIG...streaming is our only hope

I haven't actually been to a movie theatre in months and months and months. I miss it. But, there is always Netflix, Prime...but not Disney+ (I'm done with the mouse's cancel culture).

Anyway, we saw The Dig, based on a true story taking place on the eve of WWII. Well acted, nicely shot with a slow story. At times tangents in the story don't get developed or seem to be forced...but if its based a true story so be it.

Basically a land owner wants to know what's buried in these large mounds on her property, which creates the drive for the story. Its a story that brings together characters from many different walks- all to give credit to a the Ralph Fiennes character his due, which was lost to history. All in all, I liked this drama story.

I give it a 7/10, there is no swearing, and kids 14+ should get the story.

Never saw it, have to look for it. Why not go to the theater? Our were only shut down for a small stint, (but open in a nearby state just ten minutes from me) but I have been going to the theater continuously. The movies have not been great, but there have been some OK ones. Tenet, News of the World, The Little Things, Freaky, etc. Help keep theaters in business. COVID panic is so overblown it is ridiculous. First few times, too few people were willing to venture out. Now theaters are half full of dedicated people not afraid and wanting to keep their theaters in business. We are out having fun, you should too.

And release the new Bond movie already. Jeepers.

In Ontario, we're just coming out of our second lockdown, and theaters are not open yet. You can be sure, I am longing to get to the theatre and we did get there when they were open during the summer.
yes, release the goddamned Bond film already.
