Arrow Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

what a horrible movie!!!! My BF fell asleep.... then refused to go home when i asked him if he wanted to leave... because he wanted me to finish it, since I had really wanted to see it in the first place

he wanted me to finish it out of being sweet cuz i had really wanted to watch it, but he didnt' realize that i was, in actuality, begging him to leave at that point

i sat through a lousy movie... and my hunny caught some zzzzzzzzzzz's....

any other opinions?

Eh I rather enjoyed it. It wasn't a great movie, but it wasn't bad.

I think the key is you have to have read and appreciate the book(s) first.

The door sounds cracked me up . But wasn't the Heart of Gold supposed to be shaped like a shoe or something? Maybe my memory is failing.

At the very least, I thought the movie was true to the spirit of Douglas Adams' creation, if not an exact recreation of the book. Of course, Adams himself wrote some/most of the screenplay, so what you saw is what he wanted.

I enjoyed it. Not a classic but it held up the abstract humor of the books pretty well.

What?

Do you folks not know http://www.imdb.com/

The guy who did Marvin's VOICE was Alan Rickman (and yes, he was in Die Hard).

The guy who was in Marvin's costume was Warwick Davis (who played Willow).
