So.....I like Jackass movies. It is a guilty pleasure.

I thought this one would be a silly cash grab, and , aren't they all really? But I saw one review pop up on Youtube by Jeremy Jahns. He is a giant studio suckup and says he likes everything, but he liked it. I checked Rotten Tomatoes and it had an 85% critic rating. WHAT? Then I read some reviews and it was getting positive reviews from quite a few female reviewers. WTH?

I saw it. It has more closeup shots of ball-sacks than you are going to see pretty much anywhere. Way too much liquid hog DNA and is childish. Did I laugh a bunch? Yes. One bit they do in the dark is pretty damn funny.

It is more of the same stuff you have been seeing (if you watch any of this stuff) for the past 20 years. Some of it is lame, some is hilarious, some is too gross. I think why it is getting a good reception from people that would normally turn their nose up is after two years of nonsensical COVID lockdowns, isolation, useless mask mandates, and authoritarian policies, they just needed a good stupid laugh.

So this was people going out to do insane stuff to make you laugh, and a lot of it works. It is not Casablanca, but I had fun.
