This film stars The Rock, I like this guy in whatever he does....but to see him here is just silly
he plays an ex special forces zoo keeper researcher...yeah....

who operates three helicopters, lives through tremendous action sequences., fights monsters single handedly, survies an air crash, etc......all cgi
there are several monsters, and the Rock can talk with one of them via sign language...

this film, well it has a story line written for a 8-10 year old....

lots of messy action
downtown Chicago will never be the same...

not well cast....even the cia guy bad to good is not done well by the guy who was in the watchmen, dean jeff morgan....and, the Rock, he looks like he is having a hard time being serious, the writing...

but its just fun and lots of broken stuff, bad guys getting theirs, monsters, helicopter fu, and the Rock.
