Default 2026 event dates!

Apologies for the delay everyone, but Fontana has changed some things so it took a bit longer to set up the dates for this year. We have them now though!

The Spring Rock the Dragon 2026 event will be May 13 - May 17. They will hold rooms for us until Mar 13, 2026, beyond which they will be available for the general public to reserve. Please follow this link to set your room reservations at Fontana: https://reservations.travelclick.com...roupID=5024229

The Dragon Fall Run 2026 dates will be Sept 30 - Oct 5 and the cutoff is July 31, 2026. Please uses this different link to set your reservations for that event:
https://reservations.travelclick.com...roupID=5024286

If you would like to request a specific room, cabin, or reserve dates outside off these specified dates, you will need to call the Fontana front desk at (800) 849-2258 to do so.

Man! As much as I would like to go the cost of a Lodge room for Thursday thru Sunday would be just short of $800. I can't justify that!

Have fun everyone and be safe!

I have reached out to Fontana to see if they can offer any further consideration regarding the rates.

Fontana has agreed to match the 2025 rates for us, so $189 for the lodge rooms and $179 for the Hemlock two-bedroom cabins. Hopefully you guys can still make it!

Oh man I just booked a Willow cabin at $175 a night - any chance they would honor the $159 a night from last year on these cabins? They had already gone up from the previous rates in 2023 at $136 a night for the same cabin. I can understand if they were fully renovated but they are still pretty rough and outdated.

WOW! Now the price per lodge room is lower but there is a $68 Resort Fee". They sure are trying to squeeze every penny out of their regular customers!

Thanks John and Tim for trying to reduce the lodging cost at Fontana. Best of luck with RtD 2026.
Last event stayed in Franklin to cut cost. Enjoyed the drive back and forth but won’t do that again.
