Default 2nd thoughts about going to WTD'07

what the title says, i read that thread on how they are going to be really strict about spirited driving at the dragon and i'm staring to think twice if i really want to go and get in trouble (knock on wood) i'm really not too thrilled about the wreckless driving ticket and/or impounding the car, i know it's not confirmed by that Fletcher sheriff or whoever he is and it's someting somebody posted online, but after getting a ticket last year when leaving the dragon i really dont want to go through all that crap or possibly even more crap this year

maybe i'm just stressing out too much but i really dont want to get another ticket like last year, i wasn't even going that fast (15mph over), i just missed a sign where for whatever reason they lowered the speed limit to 45mph for 2-3 miles and put a sing pretty much behind a tree branch, i actually turned around and i found that sign that the cop was talking about i "think" they purposely placed it so it's not too visible but you can still see it if you look for it

anyways... should i just not worry about last year's episode and go or just stay home this year what are your thoughts, anybody not going because they want to avoid possible problems with da police! ???

I am going and I plan to do everything the same way as before. I have looked forward to this event since DBR and I will not let the naysayers change my plans.

Come on and have a good time.

I usually get that feeling about waking up in the morning.

In all seriousness, there will probably be a bit more enforcement on the dragon, as there has been each and every year for the last 5+ that I've been going. Keep your car where it belongs (NO LANE CROSSING!), drive safely within your limits, and you'll be fine. If past years are any indication, I'd also avoid speeding on 129 along the lake, and keep a somewhat sane pace on 28.

Quit yer whinein'!

You'll be fine. If you are THAT worried about a ticket, then focus more on the social aspect of the event.
