Anyone ever get a ticket in Townsend TN?

we were heading to cades cove one day and we were pulled over for speeding. I think I was targeted due to my yellow car and Florida tags. Either way its turning into a nightmare. They are trying to give me 4 points(can't really have points for work, I drive a company vehicle). I don't believe I was speeding like he says I was. Regardless every attorney I've contacted to see if the points can get dropped has pretty much laughed and said good luck. Literarily some refusing to take the case. Stating Townsend is a speed trap town and due diligence isn't a thing there.

Does anyone have a idea of what to expect? Or any suggestions or success with tickets in Townsend

" I think I was targeted due to my yellow car and Florida tags. " But not because you were exceeding the speed limit, right? :)

What indications was your Valentine 1 giving leading up to this? Just curious, I'm surprised it was silent.

When I got a ticket on the Dragon several years ago the judge in TN let me go to driving school in Ohio to avoid points and reduce the fine. Call and ask. It can hurt.

"Driving school" helps the points but cost more in the end. At least in ky and I think in TN as well. Less fine but the "schools" tuition makes up for it. Sounds like what you need. Profit deal.

i'm picking up a V1 for my next trip to the dragon in the fall. They aren't legal in Ontario, but once I cross the border...

I don't think they're legal in Virginia either. I have four (4) of them (4 cars!) and am looking for stealth options as my daughter is moving to Virginia next weekend and my wife is looking for a job there as well.

Escort works well and is invisible to Radar Detector Detectors. I live in VA and have 2 Escort 9500's. They are phenomenal.
