Nah, a bit of grief here and there but nothing mean (well, maybe not TOO mean ). And, yeah, I agree, thanks for letting everyone know (so that people like me can avoid your exhaust). I don't mind noise, I rode behind a Nvidia from VA to upstate NY and didn't even need earplugs....(of course, I haven't been able to hear anything since ). And naturally you're welcome, we like to see newbies become regulars, it improves the group.

Great. A test pipe and I have asthma. Nothing personal, but please don't EVER get in front of me. I hate test pipes, they stink.
Remember, Ken lives by the motto "rubbin' is racin'"
Hey! I was always at least 6 inches away from your bumper!

Except, well, I cut the resonator off of my T1R hoping to get more "detail", but ended up with...rasp. And what is without question one of the loudest S2k's I heard the last (and first) time I was at the dragon (this April). So, since I didn't have the coin to buy a new exhaust before this fall's DFR, I apologize heartily to all my fellow drivers: I'm very sorry. It is loud. There is rasp. And though I kind of like it, I hope it doesn't hurt your ears or neck from cringing. That is all. Thank you for reading
In spite of all the gritching, welcome to your first Dragon meet. You're going to meet some great people (well, most of them anyway. Watch out for the guy with the piggy hat, he's strange!). We tend to pick on the newbies a bit but you'll have a great time. Make sure you make the Friday morning newbie drive, it's important.

Haha thank you for the welcoming kgf and it is technically my second dragon event. I wont officially count the first since I came with bald all-seasons >.>
And believe me I remember what it was like to be stuck behind a few people just cruising when I was itching for lateral g's. Glad you all sound like a friendly bunch and appreciate my effort at damage control. The exhaust is only bad at high rpm off-throttle so ill upshift if you motion for me to keep it down haha. Oh and a quick question, any one able to suggest a place to get and what type of radio for the drives?

Most of us use Midland GXT1000 radios. The best (and probably fastest) way to get them is Amazon.com You might also want to pick up the clear headset as well Make sure you make the Friday morning newbie run Now that you have some real tires, it's even more important that you get the feel for the drive.

Looks like it's time for some "Christmas Tree Air Fresheners".
Maybe Mike still has his. Maybe he will bring them along.
Those air fresheners were trashed by the time I got home!
