That's what happens when you use your phone to respond to entries on a metro train.

I appreciate all of the welcoming responses. I'll talk with my friends this week and hopefully have more info to provide. FWIW, was in a plane yesterday, flying from Chicago to Florida. Passed just west of the Dragon. Pretty sight with all of the snow everywhere.

Still working all those details out lol... needs to get warm so I can really go thru the car and make sure it is ready to go for the dragon... (car is stored 40 minutes away) Most likely I will be in for the caravan down but worst case is I come down Friday and stay at the lake lol.

My efforts to take vacation during the event fell short, so I think that Erv (the other NSX guy in the Chicago area) and I are going to play it by ear and wait until mid-April to see if my May schedule includes days off to attend this event. I'm really hoping that it does. I'll let you know what our plans are in April, i.e. we're going with you and will be at the dinner on the 9th (preferred option), we're going to leave in the middle of the night on the 10th and join you at 10:00 for the drive down, or it simply isn't going to work. The sticky thread says that registration remains open until the end of April, so I don't see a problem there. Whether the hotel will have any room...that's another story. Hope to see you guys this spring, but if it doesn't work, perhaps autumn will happen for us!

I'd contact Fontana and ask what the cancellation policy is now. That way, if it's amenable, you might be able to reserve a room and keep it or release it up until 30 days before you go.

Thanks...I'll check it out. I'm sorry about the uncertainty with all of this. I realize that "maybes" create problems with making reservations and other plans.
