[QUOTE=smccoy,Aug 4 2006, 03:25 PM] I'm also working with Fontana to set up a map of the village with push pins, so you can "tag" your cabin if you wish, and a central bulletin board for leaving messages.

I'm not sure I want to see your rear.

As for the vinyl letters--I think it's a great idea!

The radio codes for the various groups is also a super idea-I'd like to see a list printed/emailed out to the attendees so that we all know who is on what channel.

Good thinking WG

um..

4.20?

it doesn't matter... if someone picks one, we'll use that. i think our group is significantly smaller for DBR compared to WTD so it really doesn't matter... also, my cabin isn't just Ohio people (Canada, Fort Wayne, Philly), so we won't be exclusively just Ohio people on our channel.

4.20 is the old school channel. Jason, Charles, Hiro and I ran that all the time. Of course I'll be the only one of those 4 there.

since you all are talking radios FRS/G......Is there any correlation with these radios and channels to the CB radio and channels we used to talk on in the 70's and 80's? I.E. can I tune may FRS/G... to channel 19 and pick up truckers using CBs to find out about the local speed trap ahead?
