Their photos would look better if they slowed down the shutter speed so the wheels were blurred giving more sense of motion. With the wheels stopped, it looks a little like the cars are standing still.

Slower shutter would make for to many bad shots that are wasted when not panned. Just not good for business.

You could always add blur yourself!

But this vendor might join our group for some special photos in the future, remember to ask for some panning shots.
