John, I just saw your Facebook post about you accident. So sorry to see that. I know how much you loved that S and the dragon trips.https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/public/st...rokenheart.gif

Come on up anyway. I'll let you co pilot. I'm sure Linda will stay at the Village for a couple of runs.

I saw it as well....

I'm really sorry to see what happened John...

I'll also put the offer out there... if you want an S2000 for this weekend, take mine since I will be in Vegas. Keys are in the seat and there is a full tank of fuel.

Most importantly.. I'm glad you are ok. Car can be replaced. Your family and friends can not replace you.

Thanks guys for the support :chums: , I'll be dealing with the insurance company to see if its repairable or a total, from the way it looks it might be a total. But either way I'll try to get there in the spring event either in an S or my motorcycle :)

Sorry to hear (what happened?) about the loss, but we'd love to see you come up anyway. Plenty of us have empty passenger seats, or bring your bike this time! You ARE OK, right!?

The guy who hit me came into my lane, I swerved but not enough and hit my left rear end.. I spun 180 degrees and sheared off my left rear suspension..saw my rear tire roll past me during the spin..

I'm no expert, but that doesn't look anywhere near totaled to me. So long as the suspension mounting points aren't yanked way out of whack, I bet they can make it as good as new. The suspension breaking away was probably a good thing.

well, at least let's try to stay positive! and make his insurance rent you an equivalent car, as you already had a trip planned & paid for

also, what splitter is that in front?
