Let us all know you made it home safe & sound!

With the OKI group, we made it back around 4 yesterday, including a delicious lunch stop at Cracker Barrel (which should become our new Thursday caravan lunch stop, IMO )

Mary and I got in a little after 6 last night. Left Fontana at about 11:40. Had lunch at ....... CRACKER BARREL! Yummy. Went to the one just north of Knoxville.

Trip was uneventful. Stopped briefly along the Foothills Pkwy since it was such a beautiful day and once for gas in Maryville.

I stayed at Deal's Gap until about 2pm, got home around 4:30pm

Oh, but staying Sunday isn't a good idea, I got "pulled over" (cop just pointed at me) in Beginner's End right before the Gravel Lot going (supposedly) 45 in a 30... Got away with a warning

So you were fingered by a cop? Sounds like you got off easy!

Glad to hear you say that. I was going to bring it up earlier, but I was scared to go against tradition!

We left around 6AM, stopped for pee break. Made it home around 1:30. Light traffic on I 40 until we reached Winston Salem and then hooked up with the I 85/40.

Asses dragging but rested up now and ready to go back.

Great friends, the reason we go to the events.

Learnerspermit and I left at 9 a.m, got stuck behind 5 cars on our drive out all the way to Maryville, no fun! Stopped in Nashville and had some delicious San Antonio Taco Company and arrived home around 4. We were both sad on the way home and are ready to go back!

Metro group made record time, hitting Long Island by 7pm. Only issue was being hit by a truck tire tread @ 80mph on route 81. Scuffs on my hood/A-pillar, but otherwise we all made it safe. Slight buzz from Matt's exhaust was icing on the cake.
