Those who haven't confirmed their safe arrival obviously burned to death in a fire.

yeah i thought that was you two up ahead of us, but I wasn't certain. tried the radio but no response sometimes you just have to wait a few minutes for a bit of clear road ahead of you, especially on the last day.

Andy and I got stuck 3 cars behind you guys, we were hoping for a fun run, too
we did have a very good run up until that point, though. one of the clearest sunday departures I've had in quite some time

Rico and I hit DC around 4:45 after a slight bit of traffic. We took the same exit with him going north and me going south to avoid the Sunday traffic on I-66. Great weekend with a lot of great people.

I left at 11 am Sunday. I was unfortunately stuck behind a Harley on 28 towards Bryson City, but the rest of the drive home was drama-free and I made it back at 4:30.

Total mileage for DFR: 1,007 miles

Ken, thanks for the company and playing leap frog on the way home. I got back home this afternoon. I'm exhausted. I need a vacation.

I cut out at around 9pm on sunday, made it home safely around 7:30am this morning. drove straight through and slept for 11 hours when i got in haha. Just wanted to thank everyone i met and ran with this weekend (namely ofsalesman, scammedon and your son, hannah and your folks, kgf3076, and the half a dozen or so other that i had the pleasure of running with on a less regular occasion). Everybody here was o unbelievably nice and welcoming and fun. you all made my first dragon experience absolutely amazing, and ive already made my reservations for april

I stayed at Deal's Gap until about 2pm, got home around 4:30pm

Oh, but staying Sunday isn't a good idea, I got "pulled over" (cop just pointed at me) in Beginner's End right before the Gravel Lot going (supposedly) 45 in a 30... Got away with a warning

So you were fingered by a cop? Sounds like you got off easy!
Got fingered...... was it good for both of you?

Yep! Home safe and sound. Car had to go to Toyota Monday morning. We'll see what was going on with it.
