If you come up with an insulated cup that fits the USDM AP2 console -- and allows access to the shifter! -- let us know. Anything taller than an 8oz water bottle blocks the shifter.

Not many manufacturers are going to make a 4 or 5 oz insulated cup, which is what you'd end up with after the space taken up by the double-wall vacuum barrier. However, somebody does have an after-market solution...hmmm...who could that be?

Thanks for doing this, Bob! Just made an order for a few things (and that swanky stainless cup) that I have been wanting for bit. If you can still squeeze them in, that would be great! See you at the Dragon.

No trouble, Jeffrey, I'll make sure we set your stuff aside. We'll be up on Thursday.

I need your help with the phone bracket that I installed about a year ago... The gap this time is a bit bigger than I remember from my previous car, so if you wouldn't mind to have a look at it, that'd be great!

Usually it's one of two things - either the plastic flashing was not trimmed close enough or the bracket is not parallel to the edge of the dash. The mounting screw hole is slotted to allow the bracket to be moved forward and back a little so when it comes out behind the dash trim it sits flush with the angle of the dash that's behind the trim. If the screw position is not adjusted carefully the bracket can be at a different angle than the surface of the dash and creates a gap.
