Clutch had been making some bad sounds since the event started..... finally gave up at the end of the Foothill Parkway on our way home.

Car will be towed to Airport Honda in the morning.
And... thanks to Scooter for offering to stop at the dealer in the morning to tell them how to replace the clutch!

They are staying in Gatlinburg to rest up after the event!

As Mike said, we are in Gatlinburg having the dinner we missed Thursday night. The long drive will be tomorrow.

Thanks Tom C. for getting Kathy home safely!

Oh, Mike too!

Callie and I just got home. We left Fontana at 11 and were some of the last ones to leave as far as I could tell. Callie loved the event complaining only that she didn't want to leave. We really enjoyed meeting and driving with everyone.

I left around 11 and made it back to South Carolina by 7. Took as many back roads as I could to get home, and used that handy map that was passed out last night. Had a blast, thanks for the great event!

Left about 5 Fontana time (4am CST) and got home just before 10am CST. 2,299 miles round trip over 8 days. Had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone. Thanks to everyone for putting it on, showing up, and especially Bamadave for leading me down a mind boggling amount of fantastic roads. Looking forward to next time.

Well you know the story. I can't get Tullie to leave the mountains. We left Fontana at 11:00, drove Hwy 19, 215 and 276. Shopped a little in Maggie Valley, and Hendersonville, left Hendersonville at 4:30 arrived home safe and sound at 8:45. Since my air condition went out on Friday. It was a Hot Hot ride home.
