Darcy and I are still bouncing around the route. Darcy wants to avoid Gatlinburg and found a couple new roads to the East.
I am not afraid of Gatlinburg early Saturday and want to catch the Dragon 'East" which Darcy's route misses. Both are good routes whatever we decide.
Also if we only have a couple of guys wanting to join our group of Canadians (about 10) we can stay one group. If 10 extra want to join, we can do two groups of 10.
Here is my version of the Saturday morning to Hot springs.

This is Darcy's return route.So many good roads in this area that choosing them is a tough job. LOL

ok. this may be a good way to get home from Hot Springs after the north route back to the village. The original part 2 above route is shorter (only 3 hours long) for those that want to be back to Fontana in time for a shower and shave and nap before the banquet. This route I'm proposing is for the hair on fire entrance instead.

I know this route well- it truly includes some of my favourite routes over the years. this route will take us down 215 from Hot Springs to explorer road, to CANADA road, to Ellijay road, then blasting north on 28.
