I see no reason, personally, to go with anything other than Jack Daniels Old Number 7 Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey.
Excepting, of course, the occasional foray into Wild Turkey 101 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Occasionally I have heard rumors of something called Maker's Mark, and another one - Henry McKenna. But I have no personal knowledge of these.
Me, I'm bringing Scotch.

Really? A waiting list for Bourbon? Now, I see Bourbon as a great everyday spirit, but I find nothing in the roots of the malt to suggest anything pretentious.
I like Bourbon, but....
