If you stay on 81 (and you probably will) you will go past the Marion exit (exit 45-47). If you meet at Strasburg, you're about 6 hours from Fontana.

That looks like a fun route. I was considering that originally but was not sure if I wanted the added mileage and time.

What time are you aiming to get started?
