I'm Registered! +1 and have reservations at Tapoco and FDR***. Coming in Wednesday, leaving Sunday or Monday.
So happy about the date change. Have had a conflict w/annual trade show last two years. (***the FDR reservation will be canceled in early January if none of my friends can be convinced to bring their S2Ki's down and use it).
Probably leading a ride or two, I do that on bicycle all the time so why not in a car. Same gig, cue sheet, interesting places and things, etc.

Jan says she is coming with me but if ANYONE is driving a support vehicle down from Maryland or points North of DC/Balto PLEASE let me hand her off to you (can meet on I-95, I-66, I-81) so she doesn't have to endure the trip with me in my little toy. She wants me to tow the '07 down so she can ride in her massage seat with heat but that is ridiculous for this event. I'm going to be towing the other track S2Ki to VIR in March and August, that is bad enough!

A fellow NSX owner from Illinois just expressed interest in this event. Told him he would be welcome. Hope he can make it. He also has an S2000.

Is he going to come down with you? He would be the third NSX if he brings that. Jeff (hardtopguy) is also coming.

Hi Guys,

I had originally been talking with a couple of fellow NSX owners about the idea of driving down to experience the Blue Ridge Parkway and the "Tail of the Dragon". Posted it on the NSX forum and a fellow NSX-and-S2000 owner helpfully pointed me to the "Dragon Events" section of S2ki and suggested that we hook up with all of you guys. We are in the earliest phases of talking about this, but what you're planning sounds like a lot of fun! If we pull it together I may look into joining the group driving down from Cincinnati. We're all hoping to attend - I'll keep you posted on how this looks for us. There's a part of me that would prefer to drive my S2000 down but I think after driving an AP1 down from Chicago I'd need a couple of days just to recuperate from the drive!

yes but unless you bring the ap1, you will not experience what the car was actually built for. Lots of us drive at least as far as you will. On the other hand, the NSX is not really settling.
