Rock the Dragon - Same Datre or early April?
 

I have the opportunity to take the first weekend in Aprill or stay with May 12. I'd like to know what you think. This post is to start a conversation, this will be one of the topics at the Banquet.

I vote May since first weekend in April I'm always in Utah snowboarding.

April can be cold. Clingman's Dome was closed for snow in April this year. Stick with May for top down in the mountains.

May is my and Mary"s vote. MUCH WARMER.

The 2nd Sunday in May is always Mother’s Day. That will leave a lot of folks out. Just my 2 cents.

I missed it this year but I vote early April. I prefer the cooler weather for top down driving and there's usually less rain than in May in my experience.

Hate the Mothers Day bit...

But early April can be hit or miss...

Heck, the Canadians haven't even come out of hibernation by then! :)

Mother's Day is bad timing, but April doesn't work well for many of us up north. It's still snowing here in April so most years the S is in the garage until May to avoid the pot holes and salt.

It's going to have to stay Mother's day weekend until I can somehow wangle a date either one week earlier or later. I'm trying, I promise, I'm trying.
