Rtd 19 Don't be Scared- Come Early
One of the most common thing newbies say is "there just isn't enough time".
Well, there is an easy cure for that. Although Friday and Saturday have the most publicized drives, there are so many close by attractions that should be seen. Since the usual drive leaders have been coming to the event for years, they tend to zoom right on past these attractions. Make the effort to see them before the event starts. So , come early, explore some of the local stuff like the Dam (including the museum), spend some time at Deals Gap, look for the swinging bridge on 129. Relax at the resort. Meet a few other early attendees and make some new friends. The year I decided I was going to show up on a Monday was the year I started to feel at home in the area. |

The Canadian adventure will arrive at Fontana Thursday evening this year. We will however, be leaving Ontario on Monday, for a relaxed 4 day, Pre-Dragon Event drive. :vtec:
