I of course will cover the Newbie Drive. I might drum up something "new" for Saturday. If there is such thing as "new"

I'll lead the Saturday Cherohala Skyway Drive.
Hooray! I don't have to lead this drive again this year. I'll tailgun for you (at least to Tellico Grains).

Tentatively in for Darcy's Stargazing Drive on Thursday, Justin's Newbie Run on Friday, and Phil's Cherohala Run on Saturday. I am ready to help drive leaders with all three of the above drives.

On another note, I want to lead a GA run probably covering Elijah and / or Helen. Currently researching routes but I think Friday would be ideal for this. The drive should happen unless I catch the Canadians in Marion and they do GA on Thursday or Friday. I'll keep everyone posted. Excited for RtD18!

At your normal "watch the leaves fall" pace?

I'd volunteer but I'm always the guy at the end of the line trying to catch up.

I was thinking about this drive as well for Friday- going down 28 to GA. it looked to be an 8 hour drive route. I'll try and post it up to see if it mirrors your route.

We did the drive to Blood Mountain during the week and traffic was great. On the weekends the traffic was heavy and took too long to get back to Fontana. Just letting you know man.

Pretty sure the only drive I will be leading in 2018 will be a Friday Morning local sites run.
It will be a good run for newbies and anyone who has not seen the local sites in a while. We will be stopping at the things normally roared past and doing a sampling of a bunch of roads without actually getting too far from home base.
