Hey Steve! Can you check and make sure you registered? I'm concerned because I can't find your registration and I don't want you to miss out on all the great times.

I’m not registered. I’m in the Atlanta area now and just going to making an extended day trip. I’m only going to be there Thursday and heading back home Friday afternoon.

You'll be missing out on a lot of great things like the drives, the lobby parties, the food.

Okay, I’ve been doing a lot to the car recently so with only 2 weekends to go, what are the few “You didn’t do what?” things I want to make sure I try to knock off the list?

All fluids, a second set of keys (with her, just in case), money, tire pressures, tires, a FRS radio set to channel 4, sunscreen, a sense of adventure and humor, bourbon (if you're into that). That should get you started. I'm sure there are more.

Lovetodrive has some great points on that post. Biggest thing I would say it just because the car in front of you can do doesn't mean that you can. Stay within your ability. Looking forward to another Newbie Run in a couple of weeks. Once we get to the gravel lot (now paved and it has been for ever we will do a group pic and talk about the road. Sorry but I have to get back to Fontana for a drive that I'm leading so everyone will have to be on their own for the return trip to Fontana. If you are doing the Friday's are for Franklin drives you will have more time to get back. See you soon people.
