Hi all.
Thought I'd post this up for RTD 2018- which is still a blessed long way off. This is an aggressively paced (radar detectors might be a good idea) drive to some high point on the cherohola like we did last year on THURSDAY. NOTE- I generally keep the speeds sane (0 to +5 mph above) in the residential areas so we don't wake the locals. I can never remember where the high point is but anyway. Gas up at the station off 129/cherohola cut off then go from there. Leave Fontana at 9 pm from Wildwood parking lot (provided I arrive on time from Canadia). If its teaming down, I'm staying in and drinking instead. Listen to channel 4 for updates that night.
This year, new to me '06 Suzuka blue will lead.

How long is it? just about 3 weeks to go- so excite! For the early arriving crew, this is the THURSDAY night drive up the Cherohola leaving 9 pm. Announcements on Chanel no.4

This was such a great drive, we caught a really good night! I wish we had taken some pics like that one year where we saw the Andromeda galaxy.
