Saturday Canadian Mental Case Drive
I just need a place to store this map I came up with. It would be a full day drive with likely 2 food stops (lunch and dinner) and arriving back to Fontana at dusk. Leave about 8:30 am. More details closer to the event.

Awesome route! 60, 180, 348 are part of one of my regular driving routes and very fun.
I also realize this will make the drive a tad bit longer but you'll get an even more enjoyable drive by going all the way down 60 until you run into 19 and taking that back north instead of turning on 180. 180 is good but I don't love it. The part of 19 you're skipping is a lot of fun. A lot of the uphill side is two lanes too so it's easy to navigate traffic more safely. |
so, like this?
https://goo.gl/maps/48bqZXkKsiz I've not done the 348 so I left it in, but took your advice and extended the 19 section and hit the 180. darcy |

The section of 19 you are adding is also often referred to as Blood Mountain locally so you may find more stuff looking it up that way. Also, FWIW most people I know really like 180 and it caters to the S2000 better than 19 because it's slower and tighter but for some reason I just don't love it. I won't be going on this drive, just adding a little extra info. You'll have good fun either way :) |

Yes, just like that. 180 IS fun, but I think you get even more fun out going farther down 60 + 19 north.

While 315 is a good road. TN 68 is a much better road to drive. We did that route last weekend on our way up to the Civic meet. Just my 2 cents sir. :drive:
thanks, Dave! darcy |
Date change to FRIDAY. I'm an idiot and realized I'm leaving Wyethville, VA on Thursday morning, arriving at Fontana Thursday night.
