As many know, I have been waiting for a "big group" meet with The Dragon ever since missing WTD'04 . Now, that isn't to say that McDragon wasn't great...because in truth, the McD "non-event" offered perhaps the closest driving-nirvana experience that I might ever enjoy. And the tight family feel of 10 or so of us was intoxicating. But *that's* where DB'04 comes in......the intoxication .
Seriously, when you mix + a lotta ... You can count on that getting you a whoooooole lotta ... Add a "mission plan" and a lil Fluffi Wip... Stir to a simmer... Wait for the [quite cool actually] po-po to split and add a pinch of "I'll do it g-damnit...someone just drive me...I'll do it!"... And you get something that just won't be removed from your memory(unless, of course, a prosecuting attorney asks me if I remember anything...then its amnesia-city ).
And *that* was just the non-driving stuff. Minus the slight brain-bleed I gave myself for getting waaaay overworked over having to follow tooooo many bikers that don't know how to lean into a turn and MOOOOOOVE! ...I had a freakin' fantastic time on The Dragon this weekend with everyone.
Here are some pics to share with ya'll...

And the hard-core that squeezed every drop outta the weekend
You pass that escarpment on your left as you run Rt 28 down towards Fontana along the river (when you turn left at the intersection at Deal's Gap coming down The Dragon and continue on Rt 28). As you approach the bridge crossing the river, that escarpment is unforgettably visible to your left. If you turn left just before the bridge you'll drive along to the "bottom" of Fontana Dam. If you stay straight over the bridge, you'll head towards the top of Fontana dam...and a number of additional twisties will get you there .

Taska & I worked out a great arrangement when we married: we each receive an equal "allowance" to play with...and the rest of the money goes to bills, investments, etc. So the allowance covers all the play stuff on both sides of the gender lines . Hers is two "horsepower" currently...mine, 240HP
