I'm in the process of moving from Detroit to Sonoma County, CA (north of SF). I've still got the condo here in the D, so I drove here, then drove down for WTD. I'm still in the D until the end of this month I declined the trophy - WLaurent deserved it for his drive just for WTD.

Well, I didn't make it, but who travelled furthest?

- By plane
- By S2000

And what was the route to get there?

I think I might've been the only one that traveled there by plane.

Flew from Fort Lauderdale to Nashville and then drove from Nashville to Fontana.

We had a guy (former Atlanta member) from Houston, TX in our group that flew to Atlanta and then rode up with someone from Atlanta to Fontana.

We had two +1s - one flew from Texas to Atlanta and they drove together from there.

I don't think I'll be ambitious to drive the 2300+ miles from Calgary for the next one. I will, however, fly

Don't forget to add that its a 4+ hour drive from that airport...

but if someone had booked sooner (ahem ahem) perhaps it would only have been an hour....

heheheh

South florida crew was 'only' 800 or so miles. (as compared to 2200)

Yes - SR71BB did a very cool thing. Total mileage on the car over 7 days was 4890.

Next year I will probably truck the car to Baton Rouge (PJK3's house) in advance and fly over to drive up with the NOLA group again.
