everyone! It's only a few days now....Woohoo!

As you've seen in some of the other posts; cell phone service is not available at Fontana Village or on the Dragon. Staying in touch can be a challenge. However, in addition to using your hand-held radios, we will have a "Message Center" in the main lobby of the Inn at Fontana Village.

This is a large white board that you will want to check out upon arrival and througout the weekend. There you'll find:

- Important messages and updates about the weekend's events
- Radio channels that different groups are using
- Markers and post-it notes/pens so you can leave messages for others
- A large map of the village and a clipboard where you can write down your cabin or room location, so others can find you. (Optional, of course!)
- General silliness and drawings (more of these seem to appear as the weekend goes on.)

Also, remind those at home that if they want to reach you or leave a message, that they will need to call the Fontana Village landline (yes...those still exist!) at 800.849.2258

One additional reminder...

There is wireless Internet access, but only in the lodge, not in the cabins.

You can eMail and Skype all day long up in the big house.

1 Day 11 Hours 49 Minutes and 30 Seconds until I leave for the Dragon!

That's the one thing I wish they'd change!
