This years banquet will be different...
Just wanted to point this out to people who are new, or have been here before....
I'm not talking about the food..... But the crazy Canadians are this years co-hosts...... Hopefully they won't show up in snowmobile suits.... or have a ton of poutine for dinner...... So... if you haven't been here for a few years... head on back and join us for another great event! |

I'm going to be late. Most likely. So is anyone who goes for a drive with me on Saturday. But, we'll just have to drive faster. What time is dinner again?

My favorite banquet that I can remember is the one where Killboy (Darryl) was invited and shared some videos and stories from The Dragon. Any chance he can join us once again this year?

I have the old 9500ix which works really well on the highway, but is terrible in town- but that's ok. I'd like a escort redline, but jvf1 just turned me onto the uniden R3 which is taking everyone by surprise with its top shelf performance and cheaper price of admission.

Thanks everyone for the positive Banquet program comments. I have done my best to pass them on to the 'team' that helped make it possible.
The promised 2018 Banquet would not have been as polished as it came off without Dhruv's , Brad's and Darcy's assistance. The surprise presentations from Paul, Denny and Dave(Scooter) added to the fun. The Spring Dragon event is always a great time and many of the participants I've met have become friends but are now starting to feel more like 'family'. I will put this out there for the group to ponder until next spring. We have a broad skill and talent base among us. If you have a way to add to the event quality, step up and do it. Ken has been carrying most of the entertainment load for a long time, but many hands make for a better event. Thats all..... Drive on. :tipwink: I am sure there was some old guy who said, Do not ask " what can your event do for you ?, but rather, Ask what you can do for your event" :tipwink: |
Big thanks to Darcy for an awesome video, Brad for being a bad ass, and Dave for throwing all of it together and making a great banquet presentation! Finally, my powerpoint skills paid off!
Can't forget Ken and co for getting everything organized! Hope to see everyone next year! |
