LTB, Thanks for letting me know.

I guess there's no reason why I can't come along (make my own plans/hotels etc) and join in??
Sorry, the meeting is only open to those who have fully signed up.

There are many reasons for this, not just finding accommodation.

In Italy, it is illegal to organise 'street' events with over 80 cars present without first getting consent from the local government.

These consents have already been granted and we have had to supply several lists containing participants names and all sorts of other information to the local government.

The Rules and regulations issued say we need to bring (for UK) our V5 log book and our insurance certificate and MOT if applicable. Are these just part of the required wording or do we really need them? I suspect most wont read the rules before they get there and will not have these. Is this REALLY required or not?

If you get stopped for whatever reason by the authorities en route or returning from Euromeet they will require you to produce these documents on the spot.

If you do not have them, you run the risk of a fine and maybe having your car confiscating depending on the country you are in.
