Default Beginner's Satnav question

Previously I've had no use for a satnav and probably won't have much need after this meet, so would appreciate some basic help. If I were to buy a Garmin Nuvi 250 with full eu mapping (currently on amazon for

I have no experience of the Garmin, but I have heard people speak highly of them.

I would imagine that it would suit your needs adequately.
There is a gps forums somewhere, I'll try and find the link, which explains how to put the speed cameras onto each model etc.

You could probably get some better advice on there too.

Once you're up to speed, I also have a fantastic tool that lets you build custom routes etc and lets you play about with them using google maps, microsoft autoroute, michelin maps etc.
