The "Garda 6"!

Hi Guys - thought I'd set our own little topic group. Having trouble uploading my photos on the "bulk upload" bit, but I'll sort it eventually.
Thanks for a great time last week - we need to gather again over the summer. Anyone any suggestions as to when/where?

Hi Jeff, was the clutch all sorted ?

Gaspode Apr 20, 2009 12:42 AM

Some of the Italians have been posting if the UK Clutch guy made it home...

Might want to dig out that thread.

Jon - You're ending up to be quite famous!

Had a fabbo time, and can't wait for the reunion. Whether it be in Germany or Silverstone - perhaps both!

I was quite proud I kept up with the boys round the twisties. Have fallen in love with Kitt properly now. Gave him a good clean at the weekend, but have still to get all the sand off his leather after the sandstorm on the mountain!

Thanks all!! A trip never to be forgotten...

Photos and film will follow over the next week or so.

Dinibird aka Morag.

xx

Glad to know you enjoyed yourself Morag, hopefully you are now stamping on that brake pedal a little harder.

:)

yes - just had to be a little more violent - as if I needed encouraging!! My hubbie has an Evo 7 at home, and even confessed that the S had 'turned him'!!

Turned me white when it briefly aquaplaned on the motorway in southern France. Amazing fun in the dry though ;)

Surely not enough room for 6? :yikes:

vicsport Apr 20, 2009 05:46 AM

I thought I had better write on his to make the Garda 6 complete once more !!!

I am still amazed at the true capabilities of the S, the roads we drove, and the enjoyment of the entire trip - apart from the lack of understanding of the lorry driver whilst we were slowing down on the motorway to try and let Effing Jeff / a.k.a. Clutch-kini drag his car up the hil to the services ... !!!
Man toast was a great meal ! There isn't much else I can safely repeat on here, so will PM you other 4 in the coming days!

Here's looking forward to the next gathering ... and a full reunion of the German Way Down crew!

:) :) :spam:
