Already received a complimentary crossing voucher from DFDS for 2014/2015 and I only emailed them half an hour ago! I have contacted Johnsons Honda regarding some items from the 'Group' rather than individual dealerships in the hope we can get some jackets! Alan :thumbup: |
Happy to help.......it would be useful to have the charity nomination for proceeds from EM?
This usually helps when delivering the scrounging message ! We could use the MM9 list of donators however we may want to extend this given we will probably have a MM in Uk later on in the year and might want to utilise the local traders. Perhaps a bit of wider thinking required.......like approach some hotels or vineyards in France? What in Germany? In Uk perhaps try the BIg car dealerships in earnest. Tickets to theme parks....euro disney....chessington world of adventure."..legoland....Alton towers? Just a few thoughts from scrounging experience ! Defo need need some extra helpers to scrounge especially if we need jackets !!!!!!! |
I'll talk to Furio and co about nominated charities.
Also would be good to get email out to all the club organisers for them to sort stuff from their countries - I might struggle to do this before I fly off on Sunday, but will try :D |

An update on goodies from Johnsons Honda Slough.
Small, Medium and Large jackets, 2 t-shirts, a couple of fleeces and a collection of other small Honda goodies. We will be contacting other Dealer Principles in the Johnsons Honda group (anyone deal with Oxford Honda?) but would ask all members to visit their local Honda Dealerships for donations. Contact the Dealer Principle explaining the history of the Euromeet and that, at the 2009 10th year anniversary in Italy we raised in excess of £11,000 for charities and that we have now raised over £38,000 from our charity Megameets since S2KUK has been formed.
