17" 2004 OEM wheels on 2000 model
Hi,
Does anyone know where to get the new 17" OEM wheels for a good price? I saw them last month on the new model and I think they're very nice. They will fit on my MY2000 s2k I believe. My dealer sells for aprox. 2600 euro's with tires but I still think that's a lot of money. Any 2004 buyers want to sell theirs?
Greetz,
Patrick

BlueScream you must mean DuBois in Nieuwegein. I was there for my first testdrive last year in a silver one (lowered) and also saw a blue s2000. I got a good price but didn't buy it there. Strangely I didn't trust the car, it made noises. The salesman told me someone crashed an s2000 on a testdrive and died. Do you know anything about that?

I will ask the salesman at Debois: never heard of this crash. Not strange because most people don't know the sharp edges of the S when they test drive, or even own the car. The car feels so comfortable and stable that people don't have any idea where its limits are. It's my opinion that you must drive the S at least 3 months every day on dry tarmac to explore your limits and the cars limits. In the rain you get other experiences to learn, so don't over estimate yourself.
Buying a second hand car at a non-Honda dealer can be at risk, because it's not unfamiliar that persons crash their S, not only in the rain, and get a new one from insurance. The wreck is then sold to enthousiast car repairers and that car is reconstructed and offered "as new" for a price only a couple of euros below normal second hand prices at a Honda dealer.
Ergo buy any used S2000 car at an Honda dealer and ask for the service history and if that car was sold from this dealer or another elsewhere (then think it over). Some MY2000 models have problems with the gearbox.
There are many used MY2000 & MY2001 S2000 models to choose from because people want to upgrade to the glass window with defroster among other features and just sell their old S and spend 10000 euro to get a new S. Strange things happen in Holland.
Drive safe... and buy other tyres than stock if you drive ever in the rain...
